On Twitter, it's now possible to Tweet and Chhirp. While this social media platform has already made it possible for its users to share images, text and video easily, this new app by the Cord Project Inc. makes it possible to share your unique voice with the world.

To get started, Chhirp has you log in with Twitter to compose a12-second sound audio recording that anyone on the web can listen to. Although the app was created mainly with the intention of having people say kind things, there is also a feature to unfollow and report users who post harmful content.

With the explosion of Dubsmash and similar apps for expressing yourself in a variety of vivid media, people are looking for new ways to communicate in short bursts.
