ChemPoint and Eastman Advance TamiSolve™ NxG Solvents

— October 15, 2025 — Business
ChemPoint, a subsidiary of the global chemical distributor Univar Solutions, has expanded its existing commercial relationship with the materials company Eastman to manage the marketing and distribution of a product line known as TamiSolve™ NxG solvents across the United States and Canada. This arrangement builds upon a collaborative history spanning more than ten years.

The TamiSolve™ NxG solvents in question are designed for utilization across a diverse set of industrial processes, including the production of coatings, inks, cleaning agents, and agrochemicals. A principal characteristic of these solvents is their potential to serve as alternatives for other industrial chemicals — such as N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone (NMP) and N-ethyl-2-pyrrolidone (NEP) — which are subject to regulatory scrutiny due to their hazardous classifications.

The partnership is positioned to leverage ChemPoint's specialized distribution network to broaden market access for these alternative formulations.
