McDonald’s Japan is Now Serving a Cheese Mousse and Berry Grape Smoothie

In Japan, McDonald's is now introducing a McCafé cheese smoothie as its newest seasonal beverage. The Fluffy Cheese Mousse and Mixed Berry Grape Smoothie has been introduced to mark the change in season from the heat of summer to the crisp autumn and follows a recipe inspired by the previously released Grape Smoothie.

The all-new cheese smoothie drink boasts a base of whipped cream that is topped with a smoothie of grape juice, pureed grapes and a mixed berry sauce. The refreshing beverage is finished off with a scoop of light and fluffy mascarpone cheese, a handful of berries and a drizzle of syrup.

Across Asia, and now even parts of North America, cheese-infused beverages are captivating consumers who are looking to try new kinds of sweet, creamy drinks.
