This bacon beer cheese dip is a must have snack whether you are watching football on Monday night or enjoying a casual social gathering this fall. Created by Heidi at the blog Foodie Crush, the recipe goes perfectly with chips, although you could also go with just about anything else that is dippable.

The savory and gooey appetizer is an easy to share dish that will have guests raving. The cheese dip is essentially a combination of everyone's favorite things at a party.

To make your own at home, you will need bacon slices, butter, yellow onion, Dijon mustard, stone-ground mustard, cream cheese, beer (preferably an IPA or dark brown ale), shredded sharp cheddar cheese and hot sauce (such as Frank's or Tabasco). There is even a slow cooker option.
