Cured meat brand Black Label Bacon recently created a set of ads that creatively played off of the release of the long awaited Star Wars film The Force Awakens with a character creation of Chewbacca made entirely out of fried meat. The illustration showcases the loveable fur creature made entirely out of slices of bacon and dupped, Chewbaccon.
The illustrations are a clever and artistic use of the Black Label Bacon products, creatively remaking a version of Chewbacca entirely out of the fried meat product. The pieces of bacon are expertly sliced in different widths and heights to replicate the galactic character's furry features, eyes and face that is then mounted onto a black background.
Brands often weave pop culture into their advertisements to make their timeless products relevant to a specific time period.
