Champion Brewery Company Made the Perfect Beer to Pair with Duke's Mayonnaise

Virginia's Champion Brewery Company and South Carolina-based Duke's Mayonnaise joined forces to create Family Recipe, a 5.1% ABV Vienna-style lager that's designed to pair perfectly with mayonnaise. Designed to enhance a variety of dishes made with mayonnaise, the lager features Vienna malt and Magnum and Saaz hops for a slight bitterness and crispness that offsets the richness of the condiment well.

Classic summertime condiments are inspiring everything from the flavors of dessert bars and hot dog buns. And as unusual as they may seem, consumers are eager to try these novel creations to experience familiar foods in new ways.

Family Recipe is launching at the Champion Tap Room in Charlottesville with a Duke's-inspired menu from the brewery's culinary team. Fans in Virginia and North Carolina will also be able to get their hands on this novel beer.
