Adidas Originals and Pharrell Williams have struck their chic celebrity sportswear partnership for the Summer 2014 collection.
After Pharrell took to the GRAMMYs stage sporting his customized Adidas Originals track jacket, complemented by his all-red Adidas sneakers, he has been seen predominantly representing the German sportswear giant. With Pharrell’s crystal clear creativity, there is no doubt that there are big things ahead in this much-anticipated collaboration between the two cultural icons.
Showing him wearing a plain white pair of Adidas Originals with his own colorful custom writing saying “Inside Out” on them, the ad gives us a glimpse of the creative and distinct approach that Mr. Williams brings forth. He owns his own textile company, and introduced the “Bionic Yarn” from The Vortex Project, which was an initiative to turn plastic debris from the oceans into yarn and fabric, and will be used in this collaboration.
