Contemporary artist Will Prince turned famous rappers into caricatures with his creative celebrity drawings done using a stylish mix of water color and ink.
It’s always interesting to see which features a caricature artist will heighten in their portrait rendition. In Prince's case, he uses his sketch style and celebrity drawings to emphasis several rappers’ famous attributes. For example, in his caricature of the notoriously sensual rapper Drake, Prince highlight’s Drake’s acclaimed smile. Prince’s style is sharp and unkempt as he uses unclean lines and block color shading.
Prince does a fabulous job of capturing the energy of the rappers and their personalized style. My favorite caricature is the one of Nicki Minaj with her wild pink hair.
