This Nestle Japan Promotion Turns Homes into Cat Restaurants

Nestle Japan has come up with a creative promotion for its MonPetit brand of gourmet cat food: it's turning cat owners' own dining rooms into miniature, private cat restaurants.

Throughout the month of December, cat owners in the Tokyo area can purchase a private, cat restaurant-quality meal for themselves and their cat. Nestle Japan sends a professional chef to their home to prepare the shared human and feline meal, which features two separate menus, one for cats and one for people. The gourmet cat meal is made up of fancily prepared pouches of MonPetit cat foods, while the dishes in the human meal mimic the ingredients of the cat food, which include maguro tuna, crab and roast chicken.
