Following a series of commercials that shows consumers falling deeply in love with its vehicles at a dealership to promote its summer clearance event, Honda has released a cat ad that replaces the humans with much more adorable subjects.
Like its previous commercials, the Honda cat ad depicts its subjects within a dealership. Upon being approached by another cat to ask if it sees anything that it likes, with a long meow that's translated with subtitles, a golden cat becomes entranced with a vehicle it sees in the distance.
Its gaze instantly turns to it and a soundtrack sung with a series of meows is paired with a heavenly blue aura that surrounds the gold cat grows. It jumps through the car in slow motion and then props its paws on the steering wheel as if to drive it. The cat ad completes with a few feline-centered puns, with the narrator telling viewers to get to the summer clearance event "right meow."
