In this partnership, the focus is on highlighting Murakami's influence on both the art world and popular culture, bringing his distinctive visual style to a broader audience. The collaboration "began with a meeting between Murakami and CASETiFY CEO Wesley Ng at the company's Hong Kong headquarters; during this meeting, they discussed the concept of combining art with digital accessories, which ultimately led to the development of a collection that incorporates Murakami’s artwork into functional tech accessories."

As a result, the collection will be previewed on April 3, 2025, with the full release scheduled for April 11, 2025.
