Social Issue-Themed Chairs

Cleon Peterson and Monderinca's Case Study Chairs Explore Social Topics

Cleon Peterson and Modernica contributed their talents to The Museum of Contemporary Art Denver by collectively creating the Case Study Chairs. The exclusive chairs are held on display at the 'Shadow of Men' exhibition. The collaboratively designed chairs are a result of Cleon Peterson's artwork and Modernica's furniture expertise. The artwork is crafted to resemble the topics of societal issues such as violence, political corruption and a potential future that is dreary.

The Case Study chairs are made from fiberglass and have a monochromatic color scheme of just black and white woven jacquard. A unique component to the chairs is that every single one has been signed off and numbered by Cleon Peterson on a co-branded aluminum plaque. The chairs surrounding societal issues are exclusively sold at the Museum of Contemporary Art Denver for $595.
