Japanese automaker Honda has launched a compact cargo scooter that is designed to combine the eco-friendly virtues of battery power along with the convenience of a compact form factor that's perfect for navigating urban environments.
The 'Gyro Canopy e' is capable of offering a range of 77 km when traveling at an average speed of 30 km/h. While the vehicle technically requires five hours of charging at that point to get ready for its next journey, Honda gets around this problem with the inclusion of Honda Mobile Power Packs which can be stashed under the seat and exchanged in for the empty battery as needed.
Available for sale in the Japanese market for around $6,275, this cargo scooter also features a handy canopy that helps protect its occupants and any merchandise they may be transporting from the elements.
