CSC Motorcycles is introducing the market to a brand new urban electric scooter that is designed to help you get around the urban environment in comfort and in a manner that doesn't add to the noise pollution that characterizes life in many large cities.

The 'ES5' is an urban electric scooter that is equipped with lithium-ion batteries that offer a range of 110 km when operated at a speed of 50 km/h. Fitted with a 5-kilowatt motor, this particular electric scooter is capable of achieving a top speed of 85 km/h with 177 pounds-feet of torque, which is more than adequate for its intended use as a city commuter.

Currently available on a pre-order basis, the 'ES5' electric scooter can be reserved for a price of $4,995, which is expected to represent a discount of $300 over the eventual planned retail price.
