Knowing that pop-up shops are one of the most popular ways to reach new and prospective customers at the moment, Tesla Motors brought a car store to the beach. Tesla's Model S electric car is being shown off inside of a mobile shipping container store in Santa Barbara, California, where it will stay for about a month before traveling to the upscale Hamptons of New York. Although dealerships bring stress to many vehicle shoppers, being by the beach will surely bring ease to the experience.
Inside of the car store pop-up, visitors are invited to learn more about the electric car brand and its products through interactive displays, consultations and test drives.
Since the shipping container shop is easy to crate around, it only takes about a few hours to assemble. As well as being able to introduce itself in areas where there are currently no brick-and-mortar locations, this is a huge way to cut down on the costs of building, staffing and maintaining a permanent location.
