Inspired by Little Red Riding Hood's cape, the caped armchair is designed with an integrated red blanket that literally wraps all around you when you're sitting or lounging to keep you warm and comfy.

This genius 'Red Riding Hood' chair is grey when unused, with its cape hanging down the back of it -- and bright red when wrapped around the seat. Using traditional German-Austrian woven wool fabric, the chair is both whimsical and functional.

"Evenings are the time for stories, dreams and fairytales," says Ernsting. "After a strenuous workday, we long to escape for a time from everyday life and lose ourselves in the world of a book or film. These contrasting circumstances underlie the design of this armchair."
