The creative agency arithmetic was enlisted to create the packaging for Woodlot candles, and the agency decided to turn the candle containers into something "precious" that could be used multiple times.
While many candles tend not to come in any packaging, arithmetic wanted to create a vessel that not only protects its contents, but appears more valuable to the consumer. The resulting candles have two different types of packaging – either cardboard slides with the product information stamped on them, or boxes that open and close via a string system.
The boxes open up to reveal vibrant gold and white patterns that ensure that users will be hesitant to throw them away, and that they are able to use them for different purposes.
