Cardboard Can Packaging Solutions

The 'KeelClip' Has a Sustainable, Marketable Design

The 'KeelClip' can packaging solution has been unveiled by Graphic Packaging International (GPI) as a new way to keep drinks linked together in a sustainable yet marketable manner. The packaging is achieved with cardboard and is suitable for use with a wide range of can styles and sizes to make it applicable for a number of brands.

The packaging will keep cans linked together and also features finger holes on the top to allow for enhanced portability. It will be utilized by AB InBev in the UK for Bud Light cans starting in March 2020.

GPI Executive Vice President and Americas President Joe Yost spoke on the new 'KeelClip' can packaging solution saying, "KeelClip is preferred to other can packaging options due to sustainability, brand positioning and high-speed application advantages. That’s a game-changer. It’s a product that was engineered with sustainability in mind. It also serves our customers with more branding options and, even better, it provides their consumers with an improved user experience and a product they can feel good about using.”
