'Raw Edges' by Booken Completely Redesigns the Traditional Bookcase

Lovers of forward-thinking design, will adore this modern and minimalist take on the traditional bookshelf by Booken for Italian design brand, LEMA. The functional design looks more like something you would see in your local library, as opposed to being on display in someone's living room. With this design, books are hung across the 'Raw Edge's' steel frame and dangle down with their edges exposed. In addition, this slick design can also be used as a side table.

Although this look is not something we're used to, it makes for a much more artistic way of displaying your most prized book collections instead of being tucked away, gathering dust on an old bookshelf. With this design, 'Booken' wanted to re-imagine the way that we think of traditional furniture items, by turning them on their head completely.
