Buscemi's Fall 2019 Capsule Highlights the 80s and 90s Era

Fashion label Buscemi introduces its latest collection designed for the Fall 2019 season and it taps into founder Jon Buscemi's admiration of New York City. He draws inspiration from past eras, spotlighting the 80s and 90s due to the rich hip hop culture of the time. The collection is comprised of a wide range of streetwear silhouettes, nodding to the overall aesthetics of the busy city.

There are reconstructed classic pieces by the label, featuring retro looks such as sleek coats and workwear jackets that are made using Japanese fabrics and Italian handcrafted textures. Additional details include custom patchwork, branded aglet and button accents, and logo embroidery. Buscemi explains that "the key to this collection is that we looked to the roots of this style and recreated those pieces – then elevated them.”
