The world’s most expensive blue diamond has been set in a custom Bulgari ring. The stunning ring has just sold for $9.49 million at Bonham’s fine jewelry sale in London, England. This Bulgari ring is not the first expensive item from the Italian designer, as Bulgari has been a favorite designer in the Hollywood celebrity scene since the 1960s, catering to the high class tastes of the rich and famous.

The Bulgari ring features a 5.30 carat blue diamond that as of now happens to be the most expensive blue diamond in the world. The diamond has been set in a ‘Trombino’ ring that is riddled by a set of perfectly cut diamonds and baguette cut diamonds making up the rest of the ring’s body.
