Simple Diamond-Shaped Furniture

The Buchtisch Table Boasts Clean Lines and Cosy Features

The Buchtisch table is a simple furniture piece that nevertheless makes a statement. Shaped like a diamond, it is made to hold books--in fact, its name translates to 'book table' in German. The Buchtisch table also has a modest shelf protruding outwards from one of its corners to accommodate other items such as glasses of wine and more.

Created by German design duo Franz Dietrich and Sebastian Voigt, the Buchtisch table is made out of MDF and beech wood. The black material contrasts beautifully with the natural grain of the light wood, while the overall clean lines lend a minimalist aesthetic that would complement just about any existing home decor. Great for both traditional living spaces and modern ones, the Buchtisch table is cozy and sophisticated.
