This comes as a response to the global movement of abolishing single-use plastic in dining establishments and everywhere else. Given the fact that enjoying tapioca-infused drinks calls for a straw, one can see where the duality of consciousness arises.
Playfully dubbed 'FLOAT,' the concept boasts bubble tea cups with two compartments — "a sipping area and [an] inner cup." The outer-shell features recycled glass. The inner cup is made out of BOA-free Tritan copolyester. Nestled within the glassware, this feature allows for "the drinker [to] reach the beverage's toppings easily."
