The work of Bruno Torfs may have people believing in forest nymphs and other similar fantastical creatures. Or, at the very least, inspire them to embrace their imaginations and pretend that they do exist. Romantic and enchanting, Bruno Torfs' wooden sculptures make up his personal garden. From a bearded wizard carrying an armful of tiny creatures to a young princess riding a unicorn, his work has a life of their own.
Born in South America and based in Australia, Bruno Torfs incorporates the natural landscape into his art to give them a realistic appearance. Inspired by his travels, My Modern Met writes how he "proves that wood can convey an incredible range of feelings." Over 115 striking sculptures are on display in Bruno Torfs' personal garden, to the delight of many.
