While Papa John's dessert menu has always featured a wide variety of choices, one of its most recent additions was a brownie-cookie hybrid called the 'Brookie.' Released back in December as part of a holiday promotion, the delicious treat gave consumers the chance to enjoy two popular desserts at the same time.

The Brookie consisted of an oven-baked chocolate chip cookie crust filled with a gooey chocolate brownie center. The dish was served in the shape of a pie and cut into triangular slices for easy serving. The inspiration for the dessert likely came from a combination of the chain's previous dessert offering, which includes a gigantic cookie and Double Chocolate Chip Brownies.
