British automotive company Lotus has unveiled the highly anticipated successor to its successful Evora and Exige models in the form of the Emira, an unabashedly British sports car that puts a modernized twist on an age-old formula.
The Lotus Emira's design is decidedly curvy, with strong lines and edges a constant feature front to back. Some of the other futuristic design cues present in this British sports car are its aggressively shaped hood vents and dual-lined LED headlamps. As far as performance is concerned, the Lotus Emira will be futted a turbocharged engine that will provide up to 400 horsepower, enabling a top speed of 290 km/h.
