Subway is Testing Breakfast Croissants at Select Locations

In an effort to cater to the growing number of consumers eating breakfast on the go, Subway has begun testing Breakfast Croissants at select locations in Southern California. A welcome addition to the chain's menu, the new croissants give customers a breakfast-friendly alternative to the standard sub sandwich.
Subway's Breakfast Croissants are a new menu item currently in the test stage. Customers can choose from three different varieties, including Egg & Cheese, Turkey Breast, Egg White & Cheese, and Black Forest Ham, Egg & Cheese. Like the chain's other sandwiches, the Breakfast Croissants can then be customized with different condiments and veggies.
While there are other chains offering croissant sandwiches, what makes the Subway version particularly unique is the rounded bun shape, instead of the traditional crescent. The result is a transport-friendly sandwich that can easily be enjoyed on the go.
