When I was little, I thought that it would be so amazing to have a bay window in my bedroom so that I could curl up with a blanket and a book and watch the world go by. The Bow Window is a whimsical solution to introducing an enclosed bench in any room that doesn't offer this setup architecturally.
Designer Marie Dessuant made this endearing piece of furniture out of wood, finishing it with a coat of cheerful yellow paint on the inside and a more subdued blue on the outside. It stands sturdily on four legs and provides an elevated rectangular seat that's complete with two walls and an overhead arch. Assembled to produce the subtle illusion of perspective, the Bow Window can be drawn right up to a pane of glass, or positioned anywhere you like, really.
