Bottle Wijn is a vase that happens to look like the silhouette of a wine bottle. In reality, it is a wiry candle holder that has been cleverly designed to appeal to both people's artistic and romantic sides. Bottle Wijn recalls the impromptu (or deliberate) use of such vessels for lit candles. Yet it contemporizes the concept beautifully.
Designed by Peter van de Water, a designer based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, Bottle Wijn is made out of four millimetre thick steel that is topped off with a rounded mouth that is made to hold the typical long and narrow candle. Great for modern homes, the Bottle Wijn could also act as a vase for flowers. It is available in three different styles for an eclectic element.
