The Magasin Cafe's Bottle Designs Are Graphic and Simple in Style

The Stitch Design Co. was put to the task of creating new bottle designs and branding for the sauces and cold brew iced coffees at Magasin Café, a New Orleans-based cafe with a focus on Vietnamese cuisine. Rather than going for a look that was Asian or American, the bottles were designed to take inspiration from the French.

The amber-colored iced coffee bottles implement bold typography and simple flourishes to frame the text. Although the Dumpling Sauce and Vegan Sauce bottles are transparent, there’s cohesion created by the dark colors of the liquids inside. Developed after a traditional Asian fish sauce, the Dumpling Sauce has a graphic pattern on it that resembles simplified fish scales. Also providing an option for its vegetarian and vegan patrons, the Magasin Café’s Authentic Vegan Sauce’ makes use of flavorful ingredients like tea, apple juice, sea salt, sugar and apple cider vinegar.
