After being tasked with creating an "organic bookcase," Atelier 010 came up with the Bookworm bookshelf.

The Bookworm bookshelf is unique in its oval-like structure and its seat designed for reading. Essentially, the books on your shelves surround you as you read. The shelf is self-supporting due to its shape, and consists of three sections. The Bookworm bookshelf was assembled on site, which makes sense for a bookshelf as intricate and uniquely designed as this one.

It is kept against the wall by a stainless steel foot. The bent shape is made by bending MDF and plywood across curved molds. Spray paint was used in green and white on the outside of the Bookworm bookshelf, but the inside was painted white. Finally, a light bulb was installed to hang from the top of the Bookworm bookshelf to give readers the light they need.
