International menswear retailer Boohoo Man has announced the launch of its first-ever NFT clothing collection. The new digital offering will consist of eight three-dimensional NFTs, each of which will be given away to eight lucky winners.
The pieces themselves include a patterned hoodie, t-shirt, jacket, and tracksuit, all of which will be delivered in the form of a unique blockchain-based digital collectible. Unlike other NFT clothing collections, Boo Hoo Man's will not come with a physical counterpart. According to the company, the launch of this eight-piece capsule represents its first foray into the metaverse -- an area that it plans to further explore in the near future.
"At Boohoo man we see a future for digital fashion. This collection is us dipping our toe into the vast and complex landscape of the Metaverse,” said Samir Kamani, CEO of Boohoo Man.
