Bohica is a new brand founded by a veteran American marine based in Wisconsin that takes a direct, patriotic approach to the marketing of their beard oils. Available in 'Freedom' and 'Defender,' the military-inspired beard oil collection stays true to form with rustic takes on the classic red, white and blue color scheme and bold typefaces. A true testament to passionate patriotism and its influence on American marketing, the brand hopes to take advantage of the fact that there are few veteran brands in the cosmetics space.
The packaging and branding concept for Bohica was designed by Matt Erickson uses aluminum tins and paper as its main materials and speaks to the desires of modern consumers such as portability and artisan appeal. In addition to the packaging, the branding concept by Erickson for Bohica also included marketing materials such as letterhead and business cards, apparel, a custom typeface and an e-commerce site.
