Daisy May Collingridge is a Central Saint Martins graduate and her body positive artwork is, without a doubt, incredibly captivating. Working with textiles as a medium, the creative takes cues from" bodies seen in muscular anatomy diagrams." These costumes have been hand-stitched from jersey and cotton. Displaying extravagantly "overlapping layers of skin-like rolls," Daisy May Collingridge's body positive artwork is playful and capable of facilitating acceptance and conversations about the human form.
The artist has expectations that her wonderous creations can be used in film or dance. Each of the suits — four in total — took about three months to complete. Daisy May Collingridge named them all, granting them their own individuality. So far, the collection of body positive artwork consists of Dave, Clive, Burt, and Hilary.
