Minimalist Coffee Cafes

Blue Bottle Coffee Harajuku Café Was Designed by TEKI Design

Blue Bottle Coffee Harajuku café is a minimalist coffee shop designed by TEKI Design in Tokyo's Harajuku district. The interior features clean architectural lines, natural materials and a restrained palette that contrasts with the neighborhood's busy streetscape. Soft natural light fills the space, while the layout organizes seating and circulation around the café's coffee service, creating an open environment with few visual distractions.

The project continues Blue Bottle Coffee's expansion in Japan following the brand's arrival in Tokyo in 2015. TEKI Design arranged the interior with a focus on uncluttered surfaces, balanced proportions and carefully spaced furnishings that emphasize openness throughout the café. Material selections remain understated across the floors, walls and furniture, reinforcing a consistent visual language. Located within one of Tokyo's busiest shopping and fashion districts.
