Towering Flower Sculptures

The Bloemencorso Zundert 2012 Festival Revolves Around Vibrant Dahlias

The Bloemencorso Zundert 2012 festival saw some of the most impressive flower sculptures to date. Towering over the masses, the floral masterpieces were exhaustingly detailed. Ranging from cartoonish cityscapes to schools of fish and even a jousting knight, the Bloemencorso Zundert 2012 festival challenges people's creativity and imagination in only the best of ways.

Held in Netherlands, Bloemencorso Zundert 2012 festival is put together entirely by volunteers. Full of vibrancy, the sculptures are all made out of natural flowers, specifically dahlias. These flowers are artistically arranged on a frame of steel wire, cardboard and papier-mâché. Although this year's festival has already passed, having taken place on September 2, people have just under a year to prepare travelling plans to see next year's show on September 1, 2013.
