Artist Victor Solomon often celebrates basketball culture in his work and the Los Angeles-based artist now introduces the Sunflower Vessel sculpture that fuses together new themes. The new set features limited edition artwork that is arriving in both 'Half' and 'Full' size models.
Every single art sculpture is a part of his past Vessel series including Fragment. This time, the sculptures embody the shape of a basketball and are packed with synthetic sunflowers inside. Speaking about the new work, he noted in a statement that “The basketball is a vessel – a vessel for competition, a vessel for the community, a vessel for creativity.” Each size iteration has 100 units and is made from crystal before being hand painted with gold enamel.
