The 'Blendscapes' Collection Reveals Fashion That Suits Its Environment

A collaboration between fashion designer Elsie Gringhuis and photographer Tse Kao has brought about the 'Blendscapes' collection.
The collection was inspired by the landscapes of the Dutch Island in Schiermonnikoog and as a result, was designed to suit those landscapes perfectly. The designer Gringhuis created dresses, coats, jackets and pants that are able to almost perfectly fit into pieces of the chosen landscapes in the Blendscapes series. Tse Kao photographed the finished pieces in the same environments they were inspired by, with the clothing items blending seamlessly into the surrounding nature.
The Blendscapes series is an excellent example of when fashion, art and photography are perfectly fused together in a way that is cohesive and distinct.
