Who would think that repurposed inner tubes, grommets and laces could make seating seem almost dangerous? The black rubber Rebound Chair borrows from bondage to become a stackable, sensuous silhouette that is a must for any space in need of a little daring.
Industrial designers Jacob Edding, Andrea Hardcastle, Isabelle Tremblay, Ryan Allen, Samreet Bal and Rob Vandenhoek are the Rebound Design Team who created the seductive corseted seating.
Implications - The Rebound rubber chair was made as a prototype of outdoor furniture. Although it will look fantastic outdoors, the designers will be featuring their creation inside a very modern restaurant. The dark black of the chairs look great with the bold interior colors of the eatery.
