The Biuro Table addresses the negative effect working on a laptop can have on the body ergonomically. When typing away on a flat surface, people often hunch over, creating a lot of tension in the neck, shoulders and back. The Biuro Table boasts a built-in laptop stand that elevates the screen to eye level while keeping the keyboard at a reasonable height for typing.
Designed by Marc Tran, the Biuro Table is yet another example of health-oriented workstations. While some promote standing and others fitness, the Biuro Table is perhaps the first that targets laptop users specifically. It shows that other peripherals including an additional keyboard, mouse and separate stand is not necessary if the latter is simply built into the design.
