It appears that I am one step closer to fulfilling my dream of becoming bionic. Okay, so I won’t be running at ridiculous speeds or jumping up onto buildings anytime soon, but 2008 was a year of great advancements in the field of biotechnology.
Biotechnology may truly be the next step in solving mankind’s ills. Scientists have developed microbes that fight bacterial decay, biological pacemakers, and even a bionic arm. So maybe my dream is not too far away from being reality after all.
