I am a born and bred Southerner that decided the South was just to small. I have always had a love of sports, travel, and technology. Recently I have become very interested in the green movement and all it entails.
What is unique that's not in your bio?
I have an extreme fascination with history. I love to look at modern times and find it's parallel in history because it is always there. Whether we want to admit it or not the universe is circular.
What's your favorite accomplishment?
My favorite accomplishment was getting to play a round at St. Andrews. They did not know it, but the course is beautiful, but hard as hell.
How do you define cool?
To me cool is very simple, it is confidence in yourself and an ability to have fun wherever you are. It is being happy with life and trying your hardest to ring every ounce of joy out of it.
What is your secret to uncovering trends?
I scanned the topics and looked for what I considered holes in the coverage. I was lucky since my passion was one that was, in my humble opinion, lacking in trends. I then started taking stories from a lot of the sites I like to read. It was really an easy match and I hope it is a log term partnership.
What do you enjoy most about Trend Hunter?
The variety and quality of the trends. It is great to check back and find all the new posts.
What is your favorite trend?
My favorite trend is pretty difficult because I have such a broad interest base, but I definitely love the eco trends and the crazy ad trends.
What are your tips for writing a juicy post?
I would say it is having a good sense of humor. It is hard to stop reading something that makes you laugh.
How do you reset to be creative?
I go and look at some of the spreadsheets and doc files at work. It forces my mind to scream for something creative.
What inspires or excites you?
My son and anytime I see humans overcome their innate selfishness. As to what excites me well that is a lot easier and certainly less noble. ; )
Predict something awesome for 2020?
By 2020 we will all drive electric vehicles powered by in the ground electric grids. Also the Cowboys will win their 8th Superbowl!
