BioCraft Pet Nutrition and Prefera Petfood have partnered on a new cultivated mouse cat food that would prioritize high-quality nutrition and protein alongside sustainability.

The product will feature a hypoallergenic recipe that's made with nutritionally complete mouse mousse that's intended to satisfy the natural diet of cats who traditionally eat small prey. The food is reported to be a good source of protein, while also having a good ratio of omega 6 to mega 3 fatty acids. The product is made with 99% cultivated mouse meat and is reported to be palatable for picky felines.

General Manager at Prefera Petfood Nicola Magalini spoke on the collaborative product with BioCraft Pet Nutrition saying, "As a company committed to the highest standards of safety and quality, using only real, identifiable ingredients without artificial additives or preservatives, our partnership with BioCraft helps us innovate in ways that benefit both pets and the environment. This innovative collaboration marks a significant milestone in functional, sustainable, and ancestrally-appropriate pet nutrition.”
