As the twinkle in Wes Anderson's eye and nothing short of a legend, it is no surprise that a Bill Murray art show is scheduled in San Francisco. On August 8th at SF Public Works, The Murray Affair will celebrate the man of mythical proportions and the work he's done.
The 100% Bill Murray art show is a themed event with over 100 pieces expected to be on exhibit. Conceived by curator Ezra Croft, the show pays homage to the actor in a fun and thoughtful way. The musician and promoter explains the purpose of the event is not to be gimmicky or ride on Murray's coattails, rather "taking something idyllic and the concept of him as a public figure and we’re rooting off of it and make art out of it."
