The Shadow Performances by 'Petal Puppets' Will Be Bike-Powered

A collective of puppeteers known as 'Petal Power' are currently crowdfunding on Kickstarter, aiming to raise the money for an ambitious summer tour that will use a bike-powered light to cast the shadow puppets.

Petal Power hopes to raise just over $3,300 for the materials required for the show. If funded, the pedalling puppeteers will embark on across Connecticut, Maine, New Hampshire, New York, and Vermont to perform free shows in public spaces, bringing art out from behind the walls of art galleries and out for the public's enjoyment and entertainment.

The main script for the puppet show has not yet been written by the group of puppeteers, but each member has already been working on their own individual side show pieces, so there will likely be plenty to enjoy from Petal Power.
