This bike-locating app works as a multifunctional, smart solution to finding your bike in a sea of other surrounding vehicles. Often in cities where bike riding if prevalent, bikes tend to be parked together in large quantities and can be inconvenient to locate.
'FROLIC' created an app-based bike locator in the form of 'Pingbell.' The Amsterdam-based studio saw this as the easy and modern solution to what can be a tedious problem. Pingbell looks like an ordinary bell but has features that allow it to be located using a free smartphone app. The bike-locating app tracks the bell's location sensor to find where it is parked and can use Bluetooth to tell you if you're getting close to where you parked it -- the app can also make the bell sound when you're having trouble locating it.
