Big Lots, the United States-based retail chain, recently launched a same-day delivery service through a partnership with Instacart. The new delivery service will be operational at approximately 1,400 Big Lots locations, across 47 different states.
The new partnership provides a new convenient option for consumers who prefer delivery to shopping at a physical location. Additionally, it will allow the company to compete with major e-commerce services, with Instacart’s delivery network which can service 85% of United States consumers.
Customers can order from theBgi Lots delivery services through the Instacart app, where they can select a nearby location to order form. Following the order, Instacart will manage the delivery with a personal shopper.
