Modern Market Eatery's new Beyond Sausage pizza is the brand's first-ever menu item made with the plant-based protein. The pizza is made with Beyond Sausage Italian Crumbles, ricotta cheese, shaved Brussels sprouts, roasted onion, smoky jack cheese, and chili oil. Though the use of cheese means that the pizza is not vegan-friendly, its a great option for anyone looking for a meat-free entree. As the brand's Director of Culinary Chef Nate Weir explains, "A plant-based protein pizza that is delicious, innovative and better-for-you fits in well with our food philosophy. Something Modern Market has always done well is make unfamiliar foods more familiar."
