Bang & Olufsen's New 'Beosound 1' Speaker Takes Its Design Form NYC

Bang & Olufsen has created the 'Beosound 1 Speaker,' which takes inspiration from the skyline of New York City, this is expressed through the metallic design. The Beosound 1 Speaker has a gradient finish that changes from black to aluminum. Bang & Olufsen's new speakers are limited to 1,200 models and are currently available for $2,000 price point.

The speakers are constructed in a factory located in Struer, Denmark. After the speakers are treated, the company sends the models to a surface specialist in order to hone the gradient effect. Production fo the new speakers is a lengthy process, which is why Bang & Olufsen limited the production of the speakers. The tower shape of the unit allows it to radiate sound in all directions.
