Named after the rugged Roque Bentayga peak in the subtropical Canary Islands, Bentley revealed the name of its newest luxury SUV to be Bentayga. The region is near Bentley's roots in Britain, as well as other areas of challenging terrain like Taiga, a transcontinental snowforest, which seems to suggests that this mighty car will be able to tackle it all.

Unveiled at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit, this vehicle is set to combine the prestige of a luxury vehicle with the adventurous sense of an off-road vehicle. Other than the vehicle having a 6.0-litre W12 model, the details on this Bentley SUV are slim. However, the car can be seen at work in the desert as part of Bentley's 'Bentayga Engineering Hot Test Film.'
